Crocodile Crocodile down by the swamp.....
We are going to play a fun game of crocodile alphabets. I learned about this great game from Making Learning Fun. They have tons of free info on their site.... you should stop by.
The kids sit in either a small or large group. We take turns letting each child reach inside the crocodiles mouth to pull out a card. The child will say the letter, sound or both. If they get it correct, they place the card in front of the crocodile. If they get it wrong they place the card back inside the crocodile. If the child happens to pull a snap card, everyone stretches their hands out like a crocodiles mouth and says 'snap, snap, snap' and places all of the cards back into the crocodile. If the group ends up with 3 snap cards, the game is over.
